About the Role: We are seeking a Revit Technician (MEP) to join our growing team. This role is suited to someone with 0-4 years’ experience who is looking to develop their technical and digital engineering capability within a collaborative consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of MEP Revit models and AutoCAD drawings in line with project requirements
- Support the preparation of concept, planning, tender and construction drawing packages
- Develop layouts for mechanical, electrical and public health systems under guidance from engineers
- Coordinate MEP information with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Revit templates, BIM standards, and drawing protocols
- Ensure accuracy, quality and consistency across project deliverables
- Work collaboratively with project teams to meet deadlines and programme milestones
- Attend coordination meetings and occasional site visits as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- HNC / HND (or working towards) in Building Services, Engineering, Construction or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Experience in MEP consultancies
- Working knowledge of Revit for MEP modelling and drawing production
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing production and detailing
- Awareness of UK building services design and construction processes
- Understanding of BIM principles (exposure to BS EN ISO 19650 / UK BIM frameworks desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop
- Experience working on coordinated BIM projects within an MEP consultancy environment
Desirable (but not essential): Exposure to clash detection / coordination tools (e.g. Navisworks), Experience contributing to or helping develop company standards, templates or workflows.
