We're looking for a Social Media Executive to support the day-to-day running of Corston's social media channels and influencer partnerships, helping bring our content to life across key platforms. This role sits at the heart of our marketing team and will be central to planning, organising and delivering content and collaborations that are consistently on-brand and beautifully executed. You'll work closely with our Social Media Manager and wider marketing team to keep our channels active, considered and coherent, and to build influencer relationships that reflect the quality and craft Corston is known for. We're looking for someone detail-oriented, highly organised and genuinely passionate about social media, design and building relationships. You'll be comfortable taking ownership of the content calendar and day-to-day scheduling, while also handling the admin and communication behind influencer partnerships, from first outreach through to contract and content sign-off.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of social content across key channels including, but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest.
- Create clear, well-considered briefs for social and influencer content, working primarily with graphic designers, copywriters and the wider creative team to ensure output aligns with the Corston brand.
- Crop, resize and prepare images and assets for use across platforms, ensuring they're optimised for each channel's specifications.
- Collate, organise and maintain a well-structured content library, keeping assets easy to find and ready to use.
- Own the scheduling and posting of content, managing the content calendar to ensure a consistent, well-timed publishing cadence.
- Respond to comments, messages and community activity across channels, flagging anything that needs a response or escalation.
- Support the Social Media Manager with regular performance reporting across organic and influencer content, pulling data from platform analytics to track engagement and growth.
- Manage outreach and ongoing communication with influencers and agencies, from initial enquiries to negotiating final contractual partnership terms.
- Review influencer content against brand guidelines and contractual requirements feeding back clearly and constructively before approval.
- Represent Corston at industry and networking events, building relationships with creators and agencies.
- Actively feedback and contribute to key platform strategy aligned to our social media goals.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 1–2 years' experience in a social media, content, influencer or marketing role.
- Hands-on experience managing and scheduling content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and/or Pinterest.
- Confidence communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including some experience of negotiation, contracts or partnership terms.
- A sharp eye for image quality and composition - you'll notice when a crop is off.
- Comfortable working with social scheduling tools (experience with HubSpot, Later, Sprout Social or similar is an advantage).
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks without things slipping.
- A genuine interest in interiors, design or home improvement/renovations.
- Comfortable working in a growing and fast-paced, team environment where initiative matters.
How you will grow
- An understanding of how key social platforms operate, including their algorithms, formats and best practice for a design-led brand.
- Exposure to the influencer landscape across interiors and design, including agency relationships and industry events.
- A grounding in brand-led content production, from briefing through to final approval, working to a high creative bar.
- The chance to grow within a fast growing but close-knit marketing team where your ideas and input are seen and valued.
- Time to invest in your own development within the social media and influencer landscape.
