The predicted salary is between 40000 - 45000 £ per year.

This is an exciting and varied role for someone who can deliver high-quality Building, Labouring or Trades work to support our customers with queries or assist with fitting/amending/replacing goods on client site. This role may also include building Interior sets for photographic shoots and exhibitions to support the wider team. You’ll have General building, carpentry, potentially plumbing, and decorating skills, be comfortable working at ladder height, and be flexible. This role will include travel to customer sites across the South West and London and could also involve some international travel (to be agreed with notice).

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand client challenges and arrange to visit them on site to resolve any queries or fixes.
  • Be the face of Corston and strive to deliver nothing less than a 1st class customer experience.
  • Follow briefs to ensure fixes are to the design and standard to represent Corston consistently across the Region.
  • Be creative and proactive in generating ideas and adapting and manipulating materials.
  • Safely construct set builds for photographic shoots and exhibition stands.
  • Take direction from the Product Director to complete projects to deadline and budget.
  • Support the Build Team with ad-hoc projects when on-site at Malmesbury.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience of working in carpentry and building trades.
  • Experience of working with creative briefs and following brand guidelines.
  • Experience of planning, estimating and ordering building and decorating materials.
  • Highly competent in a variety of trades and working with relevant tools.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen and sensible approach to problem-solving, with a good balance of practicality and perfection.
  • The ability to work well under pressure, deal with multiple projects simultaneously, and be responsive to change.
  • The ability to work positively and collaboratively within a team, and communicate well both inside and outside that team to always ensure a positive representation of Corston.
