This position is focused on translating design intent into fully resolved, build-ready outputs, ensuring every detail is coordinated, validated, and ready to execute before reaching site.
You will act as the critical link between design and build, eliminating ambiguity for site teams and ensuring consistency, accuracy, and first-time-right delivery across all locations globally. This is a delivery-first role, requiring strong AUTOCAD expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. This role is based on-site in Malmesbury HQ 5 days a week, with some travel.
Key Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end translation of design intent into fully coordinated build-ready information.
- Produce and oversee detailed AUTOCAD drawings, including plans, elevations, and technical detailing.
- Develop and maintain high-quality installation packs that enable efficient, accurate site execution.
- Ensure all designs are fully resolved, coordinated, and technically validated prior to build.
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality across all global showroom and trade show environments.
- Identify and resolve technical constraints, material considerations, and spatial challenges early in the process.
- Act as the central point of coordination ahead of every build phase.
- Ensure all deliverables are complete, structured, and ready for handover to build teams.
- Take ownership of design readiness, ensuring no gaps or ambiguity before work begins on site.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact programme, cost, or quality.
- Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Travel internationally (approx. once per month) to key build stages, reviewing delivery and maintaining standards on site.
- Lead a small, high-impact team covering design, coordination, and logistics.
- Set clear priorities and ensure high standards of technical output and delivery.
- Provide hands-on guidance, particularly in AUTOCAD production and technical coordination.
- Build team capability in delivery-focused design, process consistency, and execution quality.
- Foster a proactive, solutions-driven, and accountable team culture.
- Build and embed scalable, repeatable processes for global rollout.
- Create and maintain playbooks, templates, and checklists to standardise delivery.
- Drive improvements in efficiency, communication, and coordination across projects.
- Establish best practice for design-to-build workflows, ensuring clarity at every stage.
- Continuously refine outputs to improve speed, accuracy, and quality of delivery.
- Advanced AUTOCAD proficiency – this role requires daily, hands-on production of detailed technical drawings.
- Proven experience delivering retail, showroom, trade show, or exhibition environments.
- Strong track record of producing fully coordinated construction / installation documentation.
- Experience managing design through to build stage, with clear accountability for delivery.
- Deep understanding of technical detailing, materials, and build processes.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues proactively before reaching site.
- Experience leading or mentoring a team in a delivery-focused environment.
- Strong coordination skills across multiple stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Clear, structured communication – able to translate technical detail into actionable information.
- Experience in global or multi-site retail rollouts.
- Background in design & build, architecture, or technical design environments.
- Experience working closely with site teams and installation contractors.
- Highly hands-on and execution-driven.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and completeness.
- Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of outcomes.
- Comfortable working at pace while maintaining high technical standards.
