We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Design Assistant to support the design and delivery of Corston's global showroom and trade show environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin their career in design, architecture, or engineering. Working closely with our Design Team, you will gain hands-on experience supporting international projects, helping to bring the Corston brand to life through premium showrooms, exhibitions, and customer-facing spaces. You will be involved in a broad range of activities, from design development and visual presentations through to project support and delivery activities, giving you exposure to every stage of the process. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about design, eager to learn, and excited by the opportunity to develop their skills within a growing international business. This role is based on-site in Malmesbury HQ, 5 days a week, with occasional travel opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Showroom & Trade Show Design
    • Support the design and development of Corston showrooms and trade show environments globally
    • Assist in creating layouts, presentations, mood boards and visual concepts
    • Help develop design solutions that align with the Corston brand
    • Support the production of design documentation and project information
    • Research materials, finishes, fixtures and emerging design trends
    • Contribute to maintaining consistency across global showroom environments
  • Project Support & Delivery
    • Support the coordination of multiple design projects across international locations
    • Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, contractors and external partners
    • Assist with project planning, specifications and design updates
    • Help ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date
    • Support installation planning and showroom launch activities
  • Learning & Development
    • Gain exposure to global showroom and trade show projects
    • Learn from experienced designers and project stakeholders
    • Develop technical, creative and project management skills
    • Build a strong foundation for a long-term career within design and project delivery
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Essential
    • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
    • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, 3D CAD software and/or Revit through university projects, placements or personal work
    • Strong design awareness and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach
  • Desirable
    • Experience using AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar design software
    • Understanding of technical drawings and design documentation
    • Placement year, internship or relevant industry experience
