Your role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dispensary Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards. You will play a key role in supporting patient care, working closely with healthcare professionals, and providing expert advice on medicines.
- Responsible Pharmacist on Rota for the registered premises.
- Accuracy and clinical checking of prescriptions for wide specialist areas of interest including oncology, immunotherapy, rare disease states.
- Coordinating and planning the dispensary activity and supporting the wider team
- Procurement and management of supplies of compounded and specialist medications with support.
- Supporting the patient services team in giving advice to patients triaging clinical decisions and following clinical pathways with further support from a wider team of pharmacist and nurse specialists.
- Key stakeholder in allowing patients access to novel treatments via clinical trials, Early access schemes, Post trial access schemes etc.

- Annual salary: up to £53,500 (depending on experience)
- Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years’ service)
- Pension - you will be auto-enrolled after 3 months of employment at 5% (with an employer contribution of 4%). You can also opt to increase your contribution to 6% to which the employer will contribute 8%.
