Corserv Care is a Cornwall Council owned company, dedicated to improving the quality, capacity, and resilience of the care market in Cornwall. This organization brings together existing services: STEPS (Short Term Enablement & Planning Services), and Corserv Care & Support (Homecare/long-term care).
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting and assessing individuals within their own homes.
- Supporting service users to access community opportunities.
- Working with families, healthcare professionals, and occupational therapists.
- Supporting service users with their daily living skills, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.

Competitive Rates of Pay & Hours:
£ per hour for Support Worker (no experience required, full training and continuous development provided, job shadowing, team support, supervisions, and annual appraisals, opportunity to achieve qualifications, career pathway).
Time & half enhancement on Bank Holidays, PLUS a day back in TOIL.
Time & half for overtime and extra hours.
Guaranteed weekly hours from up to hours per week.
Permanent hours & casual bank staff opportunities available.
Guaranteed Payment of your Contracted Hours:
You are always paid for a full shift, even in the event of a client cancellation.
This includes travel and contact time, for a consistent and worry-free salary.
Mileage Allowance: p per mile.
Plus, after a probation period of months, you could join our ‘Car Lease Scheme’.
Location: You will join the WEST CORNWALL team and support our service users in the WEST areas of Cornwall. Some service users will be near your home location, and some may require travel to areas like Falmouth, Helston, Redruth, Camborne, and Penzance.
Training: Accredited comprehensive training to succeed (funded by us!).
Pension: A generous pension scheme with employer contribution.
Equipment: A full uniform, full PPE, work SMART phone, Lone working device & DBS provided.
Annual Leave: days (including Bank Holidays). Pro-rata for part-time. Option to buy extra leave.
