About the role The People Coordinator is responsible for providing an efficient and compliant administrative support to the divisional HR team. The post holder will work closely with a range of Corserv Facilities Ltd (CFL) employees and managers, helping to confidently solve or signpost their HR related queries. Main accountabilities will include: * providing HR administration & assistance which may involve note taking, working with data to support People initiatives and processes, contributing to department presentations etc. * working with the wider HR team to support the recruitment, onboarding, induction, and offboarding processes, to facilitate a positive employee journey * to act as a first line of enquiry for colleagues across CFL, including dealing with queries on Policies, Payroll, Pensions, Benefits, Holidays, Deductions etc. and signposting to the People Team required. * liaising with CFL’s managers to ensure – * contract change (joiners/ movers/ leavers) paperwork is received and processed in a timely manner * DBS compliance and driving license checks * auditing and ongoing upkeep of the CFL’s HRIS records and personnel files We have two roles available, one fulltime and one parttime (25 – 30 hours per week). About you Ideally you will have experience of working with an HR department and the ability to demonstrate basic knowledge of employment law, GDPR and HR best practice. You should also demonstrate the: * ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * excellent organisational skills and attention to detail * strong communication and interpersonal skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office The following are desirable (but not essential): * Level 3 CIPD qualified * proficient in HR Information Systems * experience in note taking at HR meetings and ER Hearings Our offer to you Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 per annum Working Hours: 37 hours per week (fullltime) and 25-30 hours per week (parttime) Contract Type: Permanent, x1 Fulltime & x1 Parttime (25-30 hours per week), Hybrid Base: our Bodmin offices, Cornwall Working with us you will have an employee benefits package that includes: * Generous pension scheme with employer contribution * Employee discount scheme and wellbeing events * Holiday starting at 23 days and increasing to 28 with service (pro-rata if part-time) with option to purchase additional , plus bank holidays * Cycle to Work scheme * Flexible working hours & home working options * Investment and support in your continuous training and development * Opportunity to become a Safeguarding Advocate, Health & Wellbeing Champion and Mental Health First Aider Safeguarding We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of all our service users, clients and customers.
