As a Customer Service Advisor, you will join our friendly and professional call-handling team, who are the hub for customer contact within the organisation. It is an exciting and fast-paced role that requires a wide range of knowledge. The team works closely with each other and with other teams across all areas of the business. You’ll be the first point of contact for Cornwall Housing’s customers, dealing with a high volume of contact through multiple channels including telephone, email, letter, forms, social media, and in-person.
To be successful, you’ll need to have:
- Experience within a customer-focused role.
- A genuine passion for helping people, empathy, and strong communication skills, on the telephone and by email.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve queries and offer solutions to a wide variety of situations.
- Essential IT skills.
Working Hours: Two positions are available: 1x permanent role of 22.2 hours per week, and 1x full-time (37 hours per week) 9-month fixed-term contract. Please state your preference on your application.
Contract Type: 1x Permanent and 1x 9 Month FTC to cover an internal secondment.
Base: Hybrid working - working from office, home, site, and in the community as needed. Your base will be our main office in Chy Trevail, Bodmin, PL31 2FR. This role requires you to typically work from the office at least 1/2 day/s per week.
