In this role, you will report to the Brand Protection Client Manager and work closely with the Client Manager and your colleagues to provide one of our largest and most advanced customers with strategic support in protecting its world‑famous brands online. Together with various brand owners, you will work toward a safe online environment, aiming to eliminate IP infringement around the world. Counterfeits sold by organized criminal networks often linked to terrorism and human trafficking, so you will have a positive global impact while collaborating with colleagues worldwide.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitor and analyze online content from platforms (e.g., marketplaces, social media sites), websites, app stores, and search engines for infringements in violation of clients’ intellectual property rights and wider impersonation matters.
- Carry out online enforcement and report infringing content to platforms, Internet intermediaries, and other third parties.
- Conduct status checking for enforced content and collaborate with Client Coordinators for escalation of takedown requests.
- Handle pushbacks from platforms and intermediaries under supervision of Client Managers and Client Coordinators.
- Escalate pushbacks to Client Managers.
- Collaborate to develop relationships with platforms and intermediaries to improve compliance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate enforcement records and data.
- Collect, collate, research, and analyze data from various sources to identify infringement trends and develop enforcement strategies and countermeasures.
- Provide clients with insights into the scale of the infringement landscape and recommend countermeasures through client presentations.
- Support Client Coordinators with client enquiries, research, and composing client reports, when necessary.
- Attend and participate in client meetings.
- Contribute to the enrichment of team knowledge, ongoing learning, and training for team members.
- Contribute to improving work procedures and operational workflows.
- Suggest ideas for system and product enhancements such as automation, enhanced visualization, and data presentation.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong interest in online brand protection and/or intellectual property.
- Fluent Italian language skills.
- Strong verbal and written English.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with experience working remotely with team members worldwide.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a strategic approach to tackling challenges.
- Strong data analytical skills, keen eye for detail, and ability to process large volumes of statistical and qualitative data.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and projects while meeting expectations and deadlines.
