The Role

This is not a coordination role. This is not a requirements‑transcription role. This is not for someone who writes specs from a meeting room and calls it product management. We need a Product Manager who tinkers. Someone who uses the tools in hand to build a product that just works and clients love. Someone who opens the browser console to try to understand a bug before filing a bug report. Someone who vibecodes a working prototype in Claude before booking time with an engineer, because a live tool, however rough, is worth ten Figma screens. Someone who has an opinion on why a feature is wrong for their users and can defend it with data and first principles, not just stakeholder pressure. You will own specific product squads end‑to‑end, working in lockstep with your squad's technical leads. You define the why and what; they execute the how, and together you lock in the when. Together, you ship, learn, and iterate—fast. No decisions by committee, no endless hand‑offs. No PMs who disappear after writing a PRD. The role is to lead one of our squads. Which one depends on your background, your strengths and interests lie. We'll figure that out together.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Own your squad's outcomes. You're not a feature factory. You're accountable for advancing your squad’s mission. If a feature doesn’t translate into better numbers and outcomes, it shouldn’t be shipped. If a feature doesn’t make the client love the product a little bit better, it shouldn’t go out—every little improvement nudges UX up.
  • Ship with conviction. Rapidly identify what matters most, cut what doesn't, and push to get real things into users' hands. Perfect is the enemy of shipped. You define the MLP (minimum lovable...), defend it against scope creep, and drive it across the line.
  • Go deep on customers. You love to talk to customers, not just to gather requirements, but to build genuine intuition about their world. What do they dream about, and how do we help them get there? You understand what a brand protection analyst does on a Tuesday afternoon better than most people who have had the job. You turn those insights into product decisions that feel inevitable in hindsight.
  • Think in systems, not features. For every feature you scope, you understand the data model behind it, the API infra, and the edge cases that will bite you in QA. You don't need to write the code, but you need to know why the engineer is pushing back on your idea, and whether they're right.
  • Challenge everything. You think in first principles and ask yourself, 'Why does this work this way?' You propose alternatives. You're not attached to how it's always been done, and you make that safe for the engineers and designers around you, too.

Your Profile

  • You've built things: side projects, MVPs, hackathon prototypes, internal tools—something. You know what it feels like to ship software, and you carry that empathy into every conversation with an engineer.
  • You're technically fluent: you're comfortable in the weeds of a data model, an API response, or a prompt chain. You've shipped AI or data‑heavy features, and you know that building thoughtfully integrated products that masterfully merge backend excellence with product UX mastery is not a spec, and not easy.
  • You're scrappy and fast: you don't wait for the perfect brief. You vibe‑code a surprisingly well‑crafted prototype (with Claude) before you write a single requirement—because showing beats telling, and a working thing in front of a user is worth more than a polished spec no one reads. You prototype, test, learn, adapt.
  • You have a strong point of view: on UX, on prioritisation, on what matters because your only stakeholder is the client. And you can defend it clearly, update it when you're wrong, and not make it personal either way.
  • You possess the relevant, transferable experience: 3–6 years in managing B2B SaaS, data, or AI‑driven products. The domain doesn't need to be brand protection; the instincts do need to be right.
