Assistant General Manager (AGM) for Mexican Restaurant

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and passionate AGM to run our multi-faceted venue. We are a busy Mexican restaurant in Dalston, Hackney comprising of 3 core elements - the Cocina, our main 110 cover restaurant - the Cantina, our late night, weekend, DJ led bar - Cinco, our agave and Mexican spirit 30 seater cocktail bar. The ideal applicant will be experienced with the wet and dry side of restaurant operations and have a desire to make their mark on a venue. Run the venue alongside our GM Maintain standards throughout the business through training Be hands on, leading by example Competent with admin 40-45 hours per week Passionate about Mexican food and culture Have at least 2 years experience working within a hospitality setting in a similar position Must be able to work evenings and weekends Be presentable, hard working and good with staff and customers Full training Free staff meals Generous discounts Progression programme - Whilst it would be great if you had both bar and restaurant experience we are open to you being a specialist in either.
