Head Chef

Corrochio's is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen in Dalston, London. We offer a salary from £50,000 per year, plus performance bonuses. We are looking for a strong leader capable of managing a busy, high-volume kitchen while upholding exceptional standards. Immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the kitchen team.
• Manage the pass effectively, ensuring clear communication with the Front of House (FOH) team throughout service.
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, hygiene, and food safety.
• Oversee kitchen operations, including prep, service, and closing procedures.
• Control food costs, stock, ordering, and waste.
• Train, develop, and motivate the kitchen team.
• Ensure consistent adherence to recipes, specifications, and systems.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels, manage rotas, and optimize productivity.
• Drive continuous improvements in quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
• Fluent English is essential.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Passion for high-quality food and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure with a hands‑on approach.
• A strong connection or experience with Mexican cuisine is essential.
