A specialist international logistics business operating across live entertainment, touring, sports, broadcast and creative industries is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead its London operations function. The company delivers tailored freight and logistics solutions for global tours, festivals, productions, sporting events and large-scale experiential projects worldwide.
The Role
- Managing and leading a team of 6–7 operations staff
- Overseeing international air, road and sea freight movements for live productions, tours and sporting events
- Coordinating time-critical shipments across global markets
- Managing ATA Carnets, customs requirements and international logistics processes
- Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and overseas partners
- Driving operational performance and proactive problem-solving across the department
Requirements
- Experience within time-critical freight forwarding or live events logistics
- Previous operational management and team leadership experience
- Strong understanding of customs procedures and ATA Carnets
- Ability to manage multiple live projects within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
