A leading UK logistics organisation operating within global airside, aerospace, and international freight networks is seeking an experienced Global Logistics Executive to join its night operations team based at Heathrow. This is a high-responsibility, time-critical role covering worldwide freight movements across road, air, and sea. You will be working within a 24/7 control environment supporting urgent aviation logistics, including aircraft-on-ground (AOG) and other priority shipments. The position requires strong decision-making ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to manage complex international freight operations independently during out-of-hours shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end freight operations across road, air, and sea during night shifts
- Arrange bookings, raise air waybills, complete customs declarations, and issue transit documentation
- Ensure urgent and time-critical shipments, including AOG and aircraft parts, are delivered on schedule and in compliance with regulations
- Review import/export paperwork and ensure accuracy of customs submissions
