The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Freight Account Manager to join a successful and growing logistics business based in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight professional to join a commercial team focused on driving growth through new business development and account management. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and managing key accounts across road and ocean freight. You will work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions and provide an outstanding level of service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and face-to-face meetings.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, converting opportunities into long-term customer relationships.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts through effective relationship management.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue across road and ocean freight services.
- Build relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
