Location: Tanera Mor
Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (Weekend work required occasionally).
Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Procurement & Logistics Mainland Coordinator for a permanent contract where they would be working for our Client on Tanera Mor. This position is island based with staff accommodation supplied if required. The Mainland Procurement & Logistics Coordinator supports the Procurement Lead in the smooth running of the Dornie site and mainland supply chain and logistics. This role covers the receipt, handling, storage, and distribution of goods, coordination of logistics with internal teams, and administration of fuel management. The individual will also act as a driver for mainland operations and stores function when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Procurement Lead with supplier orders and administration.
- Deputise for the Procurement Lead in their absence.
- Track all incoming deliveries, ensuring accurate receipt and processing.
- Repackage goods for onward delivery or store securely as required.
- Coordinate logistics with drivers, construction teams, marine fleet, and island operations.
- Ensure cold chain and food hygiene standards are maintained for all food deliveries.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods, including use of FLT equipment.
- Manage secure storage of bulk goods, equipment, and mail at Dornie.
- Maintain organisation of storage areas for housekeeping, hospitality, and maintenance goods.
- Track fuel consumption and storage volumes for mainland and island operations.
- Maintain accurate Excel records of usage and purchasing.
- Ensure correct processes are followed at Dornie pumps.
- Act as the primary mainland driver for deliveries and collections across company properties.
- Transport goods to and from suppliers and construction sites as scheduled.
- Provide cover for Island Storeman and Driver as required.
- Support Guest Services with mainland guest movements (e.g. airport runs) when time allows.
Key Relationships:
- Reports directly to the Procurement & Logistics Lead.
- Works closely with the Procurement team, Marine team, Island operations, and Construction teams.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Valid UK (or EU equivalent) driving licence.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook).
- FLT certified (Telescopic Handler) with good experience.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexibly and support multiple operational areas.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP/procurement systems.
- Food Hygiene Level 1 qualification.
- Background in site operations management.
- Knowledge of ESG and sustainability in procurement.
