Location: Inverness and Surrounding Areas

Salary - Depending on experience

Hours - 42 per week Monday - Thursday 8am - 5:30 pm and Friday 8am to 5pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our clients team in Inverness and surrounding areas. This role will include:

  • Providing proactive support to the Site Manager and wider team in all day to day activities within the construction function to deliver projects to completion on programme and budget.
  • Providing cover on site during leave of absences, deputising for the Site Manager on all site activity.
  • Liaising with suppliers, sub-contractors, sales team, commercial team and clients to discuss progress ensuring a high-level service is provided.
  • Responsibility to work with Site Manager to ensure all site compliance is met for Health and Safety.
  • Ensuring a high standard of customer and home handover journey experience.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be educated to SCQF level 6 or have relevant knowledge and experience.
  • Qualified to Construction industry standard with SMSTS and CSCS certification.
  • A construction professional who is organised and disciplined.
  • Excellent communication skills, working on own initiative and as part of wider team.
  • A team player with experience of leading, managing and motivating construction teams.
  • Have a working knowledge of Building regulations and H&S standards and the ability to ensure developments are managed in line with Group SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • The ambition and desire to achieve award winning performance on site.
