Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Engineer to join our client’s team. This is a key role supporting the delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring technical compliance, safety, quality, and client satisfaction across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, manage and issue drawings for site and commercial use
  • Support the Senior Technical Engineer and Technical Director
  • Assist with engineering solutions including temporary works
  • Prepare project-specific RAMS and Construction Phase Plans
  • Compile and manage RFI schedules
  • Compile existing utility drawings and As-Built / H&S File documentation
  • Attend site design, review and progress meetings
  • Manage client design changes and facilitate variations
  • Act as a key point of contact between client and project teams
  • Liaise with local authorities and third parties
  • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality systems

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Previous experience in a Technical Engineer or similar civils role
  • Strong understanding of CDM Regulations
  • Minimum 5 years’ site experience in civil engineering
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Results-driven with strong problem-solving ability
