As an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll leverage your expertise in electrical engineering to work with both internal and external engineering staff to produce electrical system designs for a variety of projects for external clients, including positioning controls for remote handling systems, machinery controls, safety circuits and LV/ELV systems to name but a few.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will use electrical CAD software to produce schematics, hook‑ups and other electrical design documentation, and will also take the lead on risk assessments and hazard analysis as well as supporting physical commissioning and in‑house test activities.

What’s required to be successful in this Senior Electrical Engineer role?

  • Proven experience within electrical engineering, with skills in electrical design, safety circuits, distributed I/O and low voltage systems to name a few
  • Experience of producing electrical systems designs for complex machinery in areas such as remote handling, robotics, motion control - encoders/resolvers - etc.
  • Use of electrical CAD software such as Trimble (Amtech), PAScal and SEE
