We're looking for an IT Manager to join an innovative and rapidly growing advanced manufacturing company based just outside of Oxford, as they continue to scale their operations across the UK and internationally.
The Role
Working in a highly visible and business-critical position, the IT Manager will take ownership of the organisation's IT environment, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and fit for a fast-paced, engineering-led business. This is a varied role combining hands-on technical involvement with strategic responsibility. You'll work closely with an external Managed Service Provider, managing performance and delivery, while also supporting and developing internal IT capabilities. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving infrastructure across multiple sites, while contributing to longer-term IT strategy aligned to business growth.
Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing IT infrastructure (servers, networks, endpoints)
- Managing software and vendors (including ERP, CAD, and SaaS systems)
- Ensuring strong cybersecurity practices (including Cyber Essentials Plus)
- Supporting a wide range of stakeholders across engineering
