The Role
The Embedded Electronic Systems Engineer will take full ownership of the FPGA subsystems and control firmware that connect photonic compute hardware to real-world platforms and customer integrations. This means leading FPGA architecture and development for inference pipelines, sensor interfacing, and real-time processing, as well as building firmware.

Qualifications
- A strong background in electronic engineering, embedded systems, computer engineering, or similar
- Hands-on experience with FPGA architecture, implementation, and hardware debugging
- Fluency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL, along with practical PCB design and layout skills
- Familiarity with protocols such as PCIe, SPI, I²C, UART, or LVDS is welcome, as is any background in AI accelerators, edge computing, or mixed electronic-optical systems.
