Are you eager to advance your career as a Project Manager / Implementation Manager, managing the customisation and implementation of market-leading software for events held throughout the UK? This opportunity at a thriving software house might just be the perfect fit for you!

The successful Project Manager / Implementation Manager will build strong relationships with customers and will be responsible for scoping work clearly with them, before delivering the implementation projects that will deliver the software they require to run successful events. Typical projects will require briefing a team of developers on bespoke customisations to my client's software according to customer needs, website development, software configuration and the provision of reporting capabilities. Managing several such software implementation projects concurrently, the Project Manager / Implementation Manager will be the primary day-to-day point of contact for the customer, providing exceptional customer service and stakeholder management.

Joining a software house nestled in South Oxfordshire, the Project Manager / Implementation Manager will enjoy a remote working setup, but with quarterly meet-ups, as well as travel to customer sites several times a year. This company places a premium on its employees, aiming to cultivate an atmosphere where people love what they do and enjoy working with their colleagues. As a result, the Project Manager / Implementation Manager can expect exceptional benefits!

  • Benefits Include:
  • Bonus Scheme
  • Company Pension
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Life Assurance
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy and sell holiday

What’s Required? For this Project Manager / Implementation Manager position, we’re ideally seeking candidates with:

  • Proven project delivery/software implementation experience, ideally with software or technology products that are configured per customer rather than built from scratch each time
  • Strong scoping discipline - able to define a piece of work clearly with a customer and then deliver against that scope without drift
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a customer-facing position, with a customer success mindset - putting the customer first, owning the relationship, responsive by default
  • Confident briefing Software Developers - translating customer requirements into clear, actionable technical instructions
  • A working awareness of CSS and HTML - enough to triage a styling issue, read what is happening on a customer’s page, and brief a developer on a fix - would be beneficial, but certainly not essential, as would any experience of SQL

If you’re a Project Manager / Implementation Manager, perhaps from a software house or digital agency background where you have worked with customers directly, and are seeking an exciting role to propel your career to new heights, apply today and learn more about this excellent opportunity!
