The Role

As a Principal Air Quality Consultant, you’ll lead complex projects, provide technical expertise, and oversee the work of a dedicated air quality team. You’ll collaborate closely with specialists across environmental and climatic disciplines, contributing to projects from planning and modelling through to reporting and client consultation.

What’s Required

  • Strong experience in air quality, ideally in a consulting environment
  • Deep understanding of UK regulatory frameworks and technical guidance for air quality assessments
  • Expertise in air quality dispersion modelling, GIS tools, and engineering analysis software
  • Experience leading projects and providing technical guidance to teams, clients, and regulators
  • Professional memberships in IES, IAQM, or other relevant institutions
