As an experienced Waste Management Consultant or Senior Process Engineer, with a background of working within the nuclear sector, you will provide both practical and consultative expertise to a variety of clients within the UK nuclear sector, focused on improving the efficiency and safety of nuclear processes relating to nuclear waste and nuclear materials, as well as leading and supporting engineering projects focused on both new and existing technology to support the efficient and safe operation of radioactive waste. This Nuclear Waste Management Consultant role requires a strong understanding of nuclear processes (including waste treatment, storage and disposal), excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely within engineering and client teams.

Qualifications
- Experience of working on a nuclear licensed site or directly on projects for deployment on nuclear licensed sites
- Direct experience of nuclear decommissioning and waste management projects
- Practical experience of plant design from concept to detail, process flow and P&ID development, experimental design, plant scale-up and plant estimating / costing, etc.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures including hazard and operability (HAZOP) and safety case input
