My client, a pioneering start-up organisation within the AgriTech industry, is in urgent need of a Scientist with a background in Plant Science to join their team at an exciting time of growth! Joining the company in their North Yorkshire Glasshouse facility, the Scientist / Plant Scientist will run a series of efficacy trials, working with chemicals to collect and analyse vast quantities of data.

This pioneering start-up has developed a range of powerful platforms that, when used in conjunction with artificial intelligence, enable the discovery of new herbicides. This Oxford University spin-out company is already making waves in the AgriTech industry and, with an enormous amount of financial backing, is set to expand rapidly over the next 12 months!

What’s required of the Plant Scientist?
- Ideally educated to a degree level within Agronomy, Plant Science or similar
- Experience within Agricultural and/or Horticultural research
- Any experience working with pesticides would really set your application apart; if this includes a PA1 or PA6 qualification, even better!
