This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Electrical Engineer to leverage their experience in electrical engineering to design and produce electrical systems for a variety of projects for external clients, including positioning controls for remote handling systems, machinery controls, safety circuits and LV/ELV systems to name but a few. Using electrical CAD software to produce schematics, hook-ups and other electrical design documentation, the Electrical Engineer will also contribute to risk assessments and hazard analysis as well as supporting physical commissioning and in-house test activities.

What's required to be successful in this Electrical Engineer role?

  • Solid experience within electrical engineering, covering areas such as electrical design, safety circuits, distributed I/O and low voltage systems
  • Experience of producing electrical systems designs for complex machinery in areas such as remote handling, robotics, motion control - encoders/resolvers - etc.
  • Use of electrical CAD software such as Trimble (Amtech), PAScal and SEE
