This is an excellent opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer, looking for the opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day running and protection of a leading, multi-site organisation.

The Role

Working in a sector that is truly rewarding, the Cyber Security Engineer will ensure that the IT environment remains secure, assisting with the mitigation of potential attacks, and serving as a point of escalation for incidents. Delivering monitoring and protection both proactively and reactively, the Cyber Security Engineer will also work to ensure compliance with processes and policies, as well as educating individuals regarding the everyday cyber threats that exist.

What do I need?

  • Commercial experience gained with a Cyber Security position
  • An understanding of the cyber security risks associated with various technologies and ways to manage them
  • Knowledge of security applications / SIEM
  • A good working knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, host intrusion prevention, anti-virus, etc.
  • A basic working knowledge/understanding of Azure / 365 Defender would be preferred
