This is an excellent opportunity for an AWS Cloud Engineer to join an Oxfordshire-based scale-up in the MedTech sector.
The Role
Working as part of a dedicated team, the primary focus of the AWS Cloud Engineer will be to design, build, and maintain secure, highly available, and scalable infrastructure in AWS, as well as implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform. Additionally, the AWS Cloud Engineer will collaborate closely with Software Developers, drive automation, and operate and improve containerised workloads and related orchestration tools.

Working predominantly remotely, you'd ideally be onsite a couple of times each month, although there will be other opportunities for meeting up as a team off-site.

What’s required to be successful in this role?
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.
- A proven track record in designing and managing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
- Experience in containerisation - specifically with Kubernetes - would be highly beneficial, as would any experience of using Ansible for automation.
