The Role
The Project Engineer will take the lead on the full lifecycle of vehicle conversion projects, from initial scope and planning through to delivery and handover. Day-to-day responsibilities will span engineering design using SolidWorks, creation of build manuals and technical documentation, quality gate definition, and cross-functional stakeholder management across departments including Sales, Production, and Procurement.
Compliance with UK and EU vehicle regulations sits at the heart of this position, and maintaining strong engineering governance through BOMs, ERP systems, and change management will be central to your work.

The role is based onsite near Armagh.
What experience does the Project Engineer need?
- Project or Design Engineering experience, plus a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or a closely related engineering discipline
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and technical drawing, combined with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as fabrication and steelwork
- Familiarity with UK and EU vehicle regulations and type approval processes, with the ability to manage compliance across a full project lifecycle
- Demonstrable project management capability and organisational skills
