An immediate need for Composites Technician on an initial 3-6 month contract has arisen within an innovative engineering business working at the cutting edge of space technology. The Role
The Composites Technician will sit within a Manufacturing Assembly, Integration and Testing team, taking responsibility for the hands-on production of carbon fibre, glass fibre, and aramid fibre components from layup through to cure and finishing. You will also manufacture tooling, moulds, and patterns using materials such as epoxy and foam, and contribute to the assembly of both research and space flight hardware. Day to day, the Composites Technician will help draft and refine Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, support facility management, and engage with supplier and customer reviews as needed. Flexibility around working hours to meet project schedules is part of the role.
