About Correla
Correla is an independently owned business created in March 2021 to bring private investment to fuel innovation in the centre of the energy market and beyond. Correla is derived from correlation, because we’re all about exploring and enhancing relationships between data, people, and processes. Our SaaS products and Managed Service solutions power industry innovation, simplify an increasingly complex market, and deliver cost and operational efficiencies. Our goal is to support industry transformation, to move to a net-zero future and to positively impact the end-consumer.
About the Role
- Provide expert consultancy across SAP and enterprise applications, translating GB gas market context (UNC/UK Link; REC/CSS for gas) into application/data designs, run standards, and service measures.
- Shape and maintain application roadmaps and evolve operating models for core gas processes (SPA, RGMA, reads, AQ/SOQ, invoicing), driving simplification, optimisation, and automation.
- Lead the application/design impact assessment and delivery for industry/code-driven change (UNC, iGT UNC, DSC/CDSP, REC/CSS): define options, validate through testing, manage cutover, and embed smoothly into BAU with clear operational KPIs.
- Support the smooth transition of new applications and solutions into live service, enabling effective handover with minimal disruption.
- Partner with architecture, operations, suppliers and external parties (Joint Office, CDSP/Xoserve, GDNs/iGTs, shippers/suppliers) to keep platforms secure, resilient and well-integrated, and to evidence compliance in support of control owners.
- Contribute to application architecture and investment planning discussions, ensuring applications and platforms remain strategically aligned with business and technical priorities.
About You
- Enterprise application leadership (SAP and adjacent platforms) in a GB gas setting: hands-on with UNC/UK Link processes including SPA, RGMA, meter reads, AQ/SOQ, and settlement flows (nominations/allocations/reconciliation).
- Proven delivery of integration and application changes to UK Link/interface specifications, with embedded data-quality and auditability controls, monitoring, and documented BAU runbooks.
- Practical REC/CSS (gas) switching experience (events/data items, incident and change management with providers) with demonstrated stability and defect-rate improvements.
- Strong consultative stakeholder engagement across architecture, operations, suppliers and external market parties (Joint Office, CDSP/Xoserve, GDNs/iGTs, shippers/suppliers), producing clear design and transition artefacts.
