About The Role

To source supply chain partners based on CCS strategic or geographical requirements, to on-board and maintain subcontractor supply chain compliance and performance across CCS operational delivery needs.

The role ensures the supply chain is compliant with CCS practises and industry regulations while maintaining a strong, positive relationship through regular review of supply chain performance.

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, develop and maintain a robust, capable and compliant subcontractor supply chain aligned to CCS operational and commercial requirements.
  • Act as the central point of contact for subcontractor engagement, capacity, performance, clarification and escalation, supporting effective collaboration between subcontractors and CCS teams.
  • Ensure new subcontractors are appropriately assessed, vetted, onboarded and inducted, with competence, compliance, documentation and accreditations maintained to the required standard.
  • Maintain effective ongoing governance of the supply chain, including re-approval, renewals, audits, performance monitoring and accurate management information.
  • Oversee the performance and development of subcontractor relationships, using appropriate review, scorecard and improvement processes.
  • Work collaboratively with Commercial, Business Governance and Operational teams to address performance issues, non-conformities, disputes, quality concerns and improvement actions.
  • Ensure subcontractor engagements remain compliant with relevant legislative and contractual requirements.
  • Build strong, constructive relationships across the subcontractor network, promoting shared standards, accountability, continuous improvement and effective ways of working.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of subcontractor supply chain strategy, policies, procedures and governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives.
  • Provide accurate, timely subcontractor-related data, reporting and assurance to support business, compliance, environmental and operational requirements.
  • Provide risk-based oversight of subcontractor activity, including targeted site engagement where appropriate for new, higher-risk or underperforming suppliers.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong relationship management skills including conflict resolution & meeting facilitation
  • Highly organised and skilled in process adherence and audit ready management.
  • Good commercial acumen to manage cost implications of poor subcontractor performance and identify risk early
  • Ability to manage & prioritise multiple subcontractors simultaneously
  • Understanding of Compliance, Health & Safety regulations, Industry Accreditations, GDPR
