About The Role

Job Purpose:

Tooversee all site managers, technical trades and sub-contractors on site onRetrofit and associated works incorporating, health & safety audits, midinstallation audits, individual measure audits and project handover inspectionsin line with PAS2030 standards in keeping with CCS policy/installationstandards & accreditations. Reporting directly to Clients and ProjectManagers

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee all site managers, technical traders andsub-contractors on site
  • To assist and input to planning of works with Project Manager andScheduling teams with technical input ensuring measures are properlyplanned and in sequence.
  • To quality check and confirm material lists are compliant andaccurate prior to installation.
  • To complete quality control checks on all installations and workson site
  • To always uphold H&S standards.
  • To communicate daily with traders and sub-contractors to ensurethey follow all CCS Processes and operating protocols, update jobs andreport.
  • To Complete audits of staff and trades on site to support generalcompliance team targets and ensure continued high levels of competencewithin our delivery
  • To manage and control defects in support of the admin team weekly
  • To work with the Project Manager and to coach, upskill and trainsite management staff and installation teams
  • Manage, improve, and develop customer service process, customersatisfaction results across ALL works within CCS
  • Report weekly on all activities, programs, completions and issuesto Operations Manager and clients with updated programs each Friday
  • Manage & enforce regular training and refresher of all staffthat report to you to ensure continuous improvement of all operations inyour department
  • Undertake 1 to 1 meetings with direct reporting staff withperformance management on a weekly basis
  • To complete monthly audits on trade staff to ensure compliancewith CCS processes and accreditation requirements
  • To support and aid recruitment of site resource requirements tomeet delivery programs and attend all interviews
  • Manage new sub-contractors and staff inductions on site fully andcorrectly to ensure operating protocol is abided to from day 1 and poorstaff assessed early on and identified

Skills/Qualifications:

  • General competence in the given trade
  • NVQ 2 or equivalent (would be preferred)
  • Experience of Fabric installation and built environment
  • Punctuality, professionalism, flexibility and working knowledge ofMobile PDA
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Minimumof 3 years’ experience
  • Experienceof working within the Social Housing sector on installation projects wouldbe an advantage
  • Experienceof working with residents and clients directly
  • Aclean UK driving license and DBS check will be required
