About The Role
As a Heating Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the operations of gas service and breakdowns within our organisation. Your primary responsibilities will include managing a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and optimising workflow efficiency to meet production targets. You will be tasked with conducting regular inspections of gas maintenance programmes, identifying and resolving operational issues, and implementing preventive maintenance measures to uphold system integrity. Collaborating closely with other departments, you will contribute to strategic planning efforts aimed at enhancing service reliability and customer satisfaction. Your strong leadership skills, technical expertise in gas service and breakdowns, and commitment to safety will be essential in achieving operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within our gas operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out supervision of Gas/Heating maintenance and repairs to client properties and major contracts.
- Always conduct themselves professionally and responsibly on behalf of CCS Limited.
- Carry out all works in line with Gas Safety Installation and use Regulations, Gas Safe requirements, and other industry regulations/company procedures and stipulations.
- Develop engineers with training and knowledge.
Skills/Qualifications:
- General competence in the given trade, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1.
- C&G Energy efficiency.
- NVQ 2 or equivalent.
- Unvented hot water systems would be advantageous.
- Good fault-finding skills.
- Punctuality, professionalism, flexibility, and working knowledge of Mobile PDA.
Key Duties:
- Support the Senior Gas Contract Manager in the day-to-day operations.
- Develop apprentices by supervising and training on different elements of their portfolio.
- Provide information to aid the development of trade staff by the same opportunities.
- Resolve technical problems and communicate with staff, analysing data, and identifying solutions with the Installation Contract Manager.
- Provide information by answering questions and requests to engineers & clients.
- Maintain contract KPIs and quality standards of the company by installing efficiently and safely with a high-quality finish.
- Deliver a high-quality service to the client and their customers, respecting all individuals and meeting the challenges presented.
- Carry out all works strictly in line with company procedures and all standards within the industry: Gas Safe, Gas Regulations, code of practice, and best practice.
- Supervise overall servicing and maintenance works across contracts.
- Liaise with residents and CCS clients as and when required about the works being undertaken.
- Ensure all PPE is present and correct, including Covid-19 specific measures.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated and in good working order.
- Manage van stocks for engineers and changes each season.
- Manage call-out rotas for engineers in advance.
- Educate operatives on quality of documentation completed and complete QC checks on all documents provided daily.
- Responsible for all equipment owned by CCS and ensure the maintenance and upkeep of such equipment.
- Ensure all appointments are kept, and all CCS tenants/clients are informed.
- Carry out duties as required by any senior manager or member of staff representing such manager.
- Stay updated with all gas safety legislation and codes of practice involving your discipline and provide this via TBTs to operatives regularly.
- Carry out all reporting of variations to any works and update the administration department of changes to requirements on site.
- Engage and attend all staff briefings and company functions.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Liaise with all other engineers and staff to ensure targets are reached, organising electrical works and building works on any given installation.
- Produce a safety certificate or job sheet for all works, and any other reports or records required for the works.
- Submit valid and accurate time sheets, delivery notes, expenses, and any other documentation weekly.

Experience Required:
- Proven experience at supervisory level.
- Experience of working within the Social Housing sector on gas/renewable maintenance contracts.
- Experience supervising others.
- Experience of working with residents and clients directly.
- A clean UK driving license and DBS check will be required.
- Experience working within the renewables industry.
