About the Role
AFTERNOON SHIFT- 2PM TO 10/11PM
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team.
You will play a key role in ensuring production receives the correct materials on time by accurately picking, checking, preparing, and storing label stock.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process paper-based warehouse and production orders.
- Pick the correct label stock and materials according to production requirements.
- Check labels, product codes, and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect opened boxes and manually count label rolls to verify stock levels.
- Prepare materials on pallets for safe and efficient delivery to the production department.
- Receive incoming deliveries and check goods against delivery documentation.
- Store stock in the correct warehouse locations while maintaining an organised warehouse.
- Carry out stock checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and follow all health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with production and warehouse colleagues to ensure orders are completed on time.
About You
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous warehouse experience (preferred but not essential).
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic numeracy skills for counting and checking stock.
- The ability to read and follow paperwork and work instructions.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
