We are recruiting reliable Class 1 HGV Day Drivers for ongoing work. Drivers will deliver concrete building products from a manufacturing facility to builders' merchants, major construction sites, and occasionally residential properties using modern Volvo, DAF, and Scania articulated and drawbar vehicles.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • ALLMI Brick & Block qualification preferred
  • Standard Class 1 drivers also considered, with the opportunity to gain ALLMI qualification at company expense for committed long-term candidates
  • Professional, safety-conscious attitude and good customer service skills

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times typically between 05:00–06:00
  • Average shift length: 10–12 hours
  • No weekends, bank holidays, or planned nights out

Pay & Benefits:

  • £18.18 per hour for the first 48 hours
  • Overtime paid at 1.3x rate
  • Pay rates due to increase by 3.5% (to be backdated)
  • Ongoing temporary positions with potential opportunities for permanent employment for successful drivers
