We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility specialising in senior care, assisted living, and specialised support for individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of patient care, dementia and Alzheimer's care, and management of multidisciplinary teams. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional care in a safe and supportive environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, maintaining high standards of service, and fostering a positive organisational culture.
Duties
- Lead and supervise healthcare staff, including nurses, carers, and support personnel, ensuring effective team management and supervision.
- Oversee the delivery of patient care, including medication administration, dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Manage casework related to senior care, home care services, and specialised support for vulnerable populations or individuals with complex medical needs.
- Ensure all clinical procedures are performed accurately, including anatomy knowledge application and medical imaging oversight where applicable.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to patient records, staff schedules, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate training programmes for staff development in areas such as Alzheimer's care, laboratory procedures, and management skills.
- Liaise with external agencies including healthcare providers, social services, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor quality assurance processes to uphold high standards of patient safety and organisational efficiency.
- Promote a positive organisational culture that emphasises compassion, dignity, and respect for all service users.
Skills
- Proven experience in senior healthcare management within assisted living facilities or nursing homes.
- Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's disease management, hospice support, ICU procedures, and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated team management and supervising experience.
- Excellent case management abilities coupled with a thorough understanding of patient care protocols.
- Familiarity with anatomy principles relevant to medical imaging and medication administration processes.
- Experience working in home care settings or managing complex medical cases involving laboratory work or other specialised medical procedures.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate approach combined with excellent communication skills suited for working with diverse patient populations requiring specialised support.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards applicable within the UK healthcare sector.
- Must hold Level 4 & 5 social care certificate.
