Job Summary: Corr Recruitment are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join one of our refuse collection team based in the New Forest area. This role involves working as part of a crew to carry out curb side waste and recycling collections from residential properties. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing, full-time work in a vital public service role. Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver Location: New Forest Job Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour Shift: Monday-Friday Time: between 6/8am start (8 hour shift) – (timings will be updated soon) Duties: · Operate a Class 2 vehicle to collect waste, recycling, and garden refuse · Safely reverse with guidance from a trained crew member · Support loaders when needed to maintain efficient collections · Follow designated routes across rural and urban areas · Carry out daily vehicle safety checks · Complete route paperwork and system logs accurately · Respond promptly to supervisor instructions and route changes · Comply with all driving laws and working time regulations Requirements: · Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence · CPC and Digital Tachograph Card · Physically fit – some manual handling involved · Good team player with a professional attitude · Refuse collection experience (preferred, not essential) · Knowledge of the New Forest area is a plus If you are an experienced driver looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
