My client is seeking a reliable and motivated Driver's Mate to join our logistics team. This role involves supporting the driver in the safe and efficient delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in logistics and transportation.
Duties
- Assist the driver in preparing the vehicle
- Execute any special requests from customers
- Check all deliveries once they have been dropped at the final destination
- Support the driver in navigating routes and adhering to delivery schedules
- Assist the driver in checking the run sheets and picking orders
- Make customers aware of any stock shortages
- Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to
Qualifications
- Good safety practices and being presentable at all times
