Job description: Join a team where careful driving and clear communication keep customer deliveries running smoothly. Overview Corr Recruitment are looking for an HGV Class 1 Driver. You’ll transport goods safely and reliably, using your driving skills and care to support smooth deliveries. You’ll work with colleagues to coordinate collections, deliveries and any changes along the route. Duties * Drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle on planned routes, following road safety rules and agreed procedures. * Load, secure and unload goods, including flatbed loads, checking that items are handled carefully. * Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle checks, reporting issues or delays promptly. * Communicate with colleagues and delivery contacts to confirm progress and resolve practical issues. * Your impact: Careful driving and clear delivery updates help customers receive their goods and colleagues plan the next steps. Requirements The first position involves working 5 days a week from Saturday to Wednesday, with an 8:00 AM start and a finish time around 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The second position will be for Monday to Friday 10:00 to 19:00 hrs. The role includes multiple bulk stops in the morning followed by collections in the afternoon.
