About the Role
We are seeking experienced and reliable Class 2 Drivers to join a leading distribution and logistics operation in Birmingham. This is a customer-facing, multi-drop delivery role involving the safe and timely delivery of products to commercial customers across the region. Working with a Driver's Mate, you will be responsible for ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness.
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
- Complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial premises.
- Load, unload, and secure goods safely.
- Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery point.
- Complete delivery documentation and electronic proof-of-delivery records.
- Collect returns, pallets, and other reusable assets where required.
- Adhere to Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Road Transport regulations.
- Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or delivery issues promptly.
- Maintain a professional and positive company image.
Requirements
Essential
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
