We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our client's team as a baker. This role involves supporting the production and preparation in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The successful candidate will contribute to helping out in the kitchen, loading and unloading bakery products from the large ovens, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and assisting with various culinary tasks. This position provides an excellent opportunity for those with a keen interest in bakery to develop their skills within a professional setting.
Working: Monday to Saturday - 03:00am to 09:00am
Paying from: £15.65 to £20.12
Duties- Assist in food production, including preparing ingredients to recipes and standards
- Support food preparation activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils, equipment, and work surfaces
- Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure hygiene standards are upheld
- Assist with baking tasks as required, including preparing doughs and baked goods
- Support the team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing
- Previous experience in food production or food preparation
- Experience working in a kitchen environment is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- A genuine passion for food
