This role will suit a regular gifts fundraising professional who is motivated to bring in gifts to support outstanding education, research, and student opportunity. Reporting to the Deputy Development Director, you will join a dynamic Development Office team comprised of six other members.
What you will be doing:
- Responsibility for the Alumni Fund, regular giving and associated projects
- Operational administration and delivery of key areas such as legacies, and special interest groups
- Building trusted relationships with alumni and donors
- Strengthening stewardship and gift recognition practices
- Collating information to build presentations and philanthropic cases for support
- Enriching alumni engagement through well documented interactions into and out of our CRM (Raiser’s Edge NXT)
- Working closely with academics and professional colleagues
- Contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture
What we are looking for:
- Regular giving and general fundraising experience
- Telephone campaign and/or Giving Day experience
- Strong data preparation and analysis skills
- Query reporting and information presentation skills
- Organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines under pressure
- Attention to detail, delivery focused
- Experience in higher education is welcome but not essential. What matters is your ability to deliver regular giving fundraising with care and integrity.
