Position Summary We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Relief Security Officer in Wolverhampton. The role involves providing holiday and sickness cover at various client premises and may lead to a fixed shift pattern when available. You will be required to work flexible hours, covering days, nights, and weekends.

Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- A valid SIA Front‑Line Licence – essential
- A valid SIA CCTV Licence – desirable
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
- Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle or reliable transport
- Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
Responsibilities:
- Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular site patrols and recording these as per Corps and Customer requirements.
- Ensure all visitors and contractors to the site are correctly briefed and sign in/out of the site.
- Record the entry and exit of deliveries while on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
- Carry out patrols to the correct standards.
- Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out‑of‑hours security provision if applicable.
- Comply with site waste management procedures.
- Complete documents as required including daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and any site‑specific reports.
- Be familiar with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other quality & safety documents; advise Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on any changes or recommendations to improve.
- Maintain training records via the Corps Colleague Portal to keep skills up to date, including first aid and fire marshal training.
- Continuously apply SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism. Your SIA licence must always be displayed.
- Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
