We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide a secure and safe environment for all staff & visitors on site. This will be achieved through applying thorough access control procedures, carrying out site inductions, planned & ad-hoc site patrols together with other duties as determined by the Assignment Instructions. In the event of an emergency, follow prescribed escalation/communication procedures with Site Management, Corps colleagues and the emergency services. You will be working an average of 42 hours per week on a 4 on, 4 off Nights Only rotation. Shifts will be 18:00 - 06:00.

What You Will Need:
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure.
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
What Are You Going To Do:
- Liaise daily with staff and the client and operational management teams
- Support the fulfilment of the contracted/business objectives, through the range of duty assignments which will involve security and support duties
- Ensure safety of customers and all staff
- Contribute as a team member to ensure a positive customer experience for all visitors/customers
- Demonstrate trustworthiness, attentiveness and always be approachable when welcoming clients
- Be vigilant always when on site and report and escalate any concerns as appropriate
- Reception duties, providing a professional and courteous front of house service, greeting all visitors, explaining any operational procedures taking place at time of visit such as fire alarm tests
- Monitoring CCTV and security alarms whilst also responsible for updating of Corps Security Daily Occurrence Book with any activities on site
- Patrolling the client’s premises using mobile devices following set patrol routes securing the premises, reporting any incidents discovered and any health and safety issues found whilst on patrol
- Gatehouse duties, the recording of vehicles entering the client’s premises, checking documentation to ensure vehicles are expected, recording vehicles arrival, performing security searches on vehicle and access control
- Screening of staff during exit and entering. Performing professional searches in a controlled environment whilst providing excellent customer service to the client and ensuring all searches are recorded
