As an Access Control Officer, you will undertake a crucial role for the business by ensuring consistent service delivery at the Site's Access Control hub. The Access Control Officer will be one of the first points of contact for Visitors, Contractors, and Clients alike and will be responsible for ensuring the correct levels of access are granted as per the booking, or the correct escalation processes are followed if there are any issues. You will be working 25 hours per week Monday to Friday from 06:00 - 11:00am.

What You Will Need
- Previous experience working in a similar role and in a similar organisation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
- Knowledge of Access Control Software - preferably C-Cure 9000
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
What Are You Going To Do
- Provide access to site Visitors, Clients and Contractors by using C-Cure 9000 & VM Easy
- Have full compliance with operational instructions e.g. alarm responses, building access, production
- Reporting/escalation of issues to Corps Security and on-site management
- Produce clear, logical and well-written operational reports to required timeframes
- To be fully conversant with site systems and procedures
- Support Corps Security and site management teams in identifying and implementing service improvements
- To be fully conversant with all changes in building occupiers, set up and productions and to ensure information is passed both upwards and cascaded downwards
- Maintaining safety and security through the operation of the integrated security systems
- Liaise with external authorities including the police
- Providing immediate response in the event of any major/minor incidents, ranging from responding to medical incidents, fire alarm activation/evacuations and crisis and response
- Any other admin duties that the DSMs, Supervisors or clients deem necessary or commensurate with the position
