We currently have an exciting opportunity for a site‑based Security Manager in Walsall.
Someone who has the ability to manage a security team and provide an efficient, flexible, and motivated team is pivotal to the success of this role.
You will need to have excellent planning, organisational and commercial skills together with experience to recognise opportunities.
You will work - 40hrs per week, Mon - Fri 0900-1700 with a degree of flexibility.

What you will need
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- A valid SIA Front‑Line License - essential.
- A Full UK Manual Driving License - essential.
- A valid SIA CCTV License - desirable.
- An EDBS certificate - desirable. Previous Security Management experience.
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e. g. Excel)
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
What are you going to do
- Responsible for the day‑to‑day operational management of a team of security officers, supervisors, and receptionists.
- Safeguarding of company assets to include people, buildings, and information.
- Implementation of security policies.
- Undertake security threat & risk assessments.
- Undertake ad‑hoc projects as directed by the Client or Corps Security Management Team.
- To lead, manage and motivate direct reports including: goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development planning, and monitor attendance / timekeeping.
- Prompt and accurate submission of all necessary reports and performance measurement documentation to the appropriate departments.
- Effective rostering of site personnel.
- Attainment of Company’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and assist with investigation of apparent non‑conformance.
