What you will need
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus
- A valid SIA Front‑Line licence – essential
- A valid SIA CCTV licence – desirable
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good relationships at all levels
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages (e.g. Excel)
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards
What are you going to do
- Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carry out regular patrols and record as per requirements
- Ensure all visitors and contractors are correctly briefed, sign in/out
- Record entry/exit of deliveries and process paperwork in line with quality procedures
- Carry out patrols to correct standards
- Set and unset alarm systems for out‑of‑hours security provision, if applicable
- Comply with waste management procedures
- Complete required documents: daily logs, shift handover, incident reports and site‑specific reports
- Maintain training records via Corps portal (first aid, fire marshal, etc.)
- Apply SIA skills continuously and display licence at all times
- Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed
