What You Will Need
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- A valid SIA Front‑Line Licence – essential.
- A valid UK Driving Licence – essential.
- Confidence to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft software packages (e.g. Excel).
- Own vehicle or reliable transport.
- Ability to achieve BS7858 and BPSS clearance standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular patrols and recording these as per Corps and client requirements.
- Ensure all visitors and contractors are briefed, sign in and out, and record deliveries.
- Record entry and exit of deliveries and process paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
- Carry out patrols to correct standards.
- Set and unset alarm security systems for out‑of‑hours provision where applicable.
- Comply with site waste management procedures.
- Complete required documents including daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and site‑specific reports.
- Stay familiar with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and other quality & safety documents and advise management on improvements.
- Maintain training records via Corps Colleague Portal, keeping first aid and fire marshal training up to date.
- Continuously apply SIA skills, maintain professionalism and always display licence.
- Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed.
